Forest Park Monument Signs
Forest Park, just outside of Atlanta, just got a big upgrade with their monument signs outside of their cities park and recreation center. the final product came out looking amazing as you can see and the process to building them was a complex job for sure!
We started with the frame work, cutting and welding various angled pipes together to form the skeleton frame.
Then a sheet of aluminum with holes drilled in various places was attached to the back. Small mounting pegs will be slid through each hole and then letters will be attached to them.
Once the entire frame has been assembled, it is brought into the paint booth to be primed and painted.
During the painting process, our mason heads out to the location to build out the brick base to mount the signs to. The bricks are designed around metal beams that were placed in the ground. The sign will actually slide right over those beams to help in creating a stable structure.
The monument at this time has been painted and the letters have been attached.
Our team heads out to Forest Park to install the sign and call it day. But not before taking a quick pic with our handy work!
We love working with our local cities and bringing some much deserved works of art to their streets!
