Do Aluminum Signs Rust?

The simple answer is NO!

Continue reading if you want to know more…

Aluminum is a metal that simply does not rust, which makes it great for signs! Corrosion can still occur, but to safeguard against that we add a white powder-coat primer to protect the material. If your goal is to reuse the same sign for many months or even years, aluminum is the way to go!

Aluminum signs don’t rust, but what about the frame? You may ask. We also got that covered! Even our most inexpensive frame, step-stakes, have a protective coating. That coating makes them, you guessed it, RUST RESISTANT. All our other frames are made of iron with a high gloss black powder coated paint making them rust resistant as well. Even the nuts and bolts we use to mount the sign in the frame are plastic and won’t rust. Other companies typically use a zinc plated metal that will rust and cause brown streaking. Plastic is just better, so that's what we offer on all signs!

We take every effort to ensure a great product that looks good and will last. If you are happy then we are happy, simple as that! We listen, adapt and strive to be better.
