We want you to be completely satisfied with every product you purchase from abettersign.com. If you are unhappy with the performance of any stock product we offer, you may return it for exchange or refund*, whichever you prefer, within 30 days of purchase. To exchange or return an item, please contact us for prior approval before it is shipped. Return shipping will be paid by buyer. A Better Sign will not be responsible to pay shipping for any returned items excluding items damaged by shipping company. Your satisfaction is our highest priority! Custom made products are not returnable or refundable.
Damage Claims: All claims for breakage and/or damage, whether concealed or obvious, must be reported immediately by the purchaser to us. Failure by the purchaser to report any claims for breakage and/or damage within 3 days shall cause the purchaser to waive the claims.
Warranty: Some of our products carry limited warranties. Warranty does not cover damages caused by the purchaser.
Seller's Limited Liability: In no event shall seller be liable for consequential, special, incidental, punitive or contingent damages of any nature. In no event shall seller be liable any interruption of operations, loss of anticipated profits, injury to business or reputation. The seller's liability is limited to the purchase price. *Separate conditions apply to customized and special orders; please inquire.
Products Installation and Use: We've sold millions of products that work great for our customers. We have no control of circumstances and environmental conditions of use environments such as vehicle surface, painted surface, finishes, wind, heat and cold, acts of nature etc. Therefore, no guarantee is implied for the use of products in any environment. Buy at your own risk. A Better Sign accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to property.
Sales and Use Tax: A Better Sign is located in the State of Georgia, USA. All products shipped, installed, delivered or picked may be subject to Sales and Use Tax except as exempted by completing the State of Georgia Sales and Use Tax Certificate of Exemption form
Stock Templates and Custom Designs: All templates that can be modified using our Online Design tool are considered custom images whether they are modified by the user or added to the cart "as is". It is the buyers responsibility to check the design for accuracy as our system is wysiwyg "what you see is what you get". If the thumbnail image in the cart (click it to enlarge) and on your confirmation email is incorrect, it is the buyers responsibility to inform our staff if there are issues. A Better Sign will not be held responsible unless changes are approved in writing.
Color Matching and Users Artwork Quality: Color matching and print quality depend on many factors. Therefore, we do not guarantee color matching under any circumstances except by written approval. We only match per Pantone PMS colors and get them"as close as possible". We do not guarantee exact color matches as we use CMYK process printing. See #2 below about color matching.
Color Bleeds to Edge & White Borders: Most of our outdoor signs will have a thin approximately 1/8" white border. This includes all the following materials: Corrugated Plastic, Duraplast, Aluminum and RigidBond. The following products can bleed to the edge with no white border: Banners, Posters, Poster Display Boards, Business Cards, Stickers, Flags, Canvas Wraps and most other indoor products do not have a white border and are excluded from this notice. Any exception to this policy must be approved in writing from our staff and there may be an extra charge associated with the order in that case. If you are unsure this effects your product, it is your responsibility to contact us. In no way will A Better Sign be held responsible for customers displeasure with the white border.
Two most common problems with uploaded files are:
1. Bad quality printed images - Usually results from customers original files being too small and of poor quality. Follow our Art Preparation Guidelines to reduce the possiblity of poor quality prints.
2. Colors don't match or look the way I intended - Color Matching: Colors on your computer screen may look very different from colors on another screen, including ours. We match your intended colors as closely as possible. Our equipment is color calibrated to exacting standards. If you are concerned about color matching please call (770-979-8387). A Better Sign will not be held responsible for colors chosen in our designer or submitted by customers unless a hard copy proof has been submitted for approval. Online Designer color names and actual printed colors are completely arbitrary and are not to be considered a definitive color. A Better Sign will not be held responsible for any color disputes as a result of colors named or displayed in our Online Designer. If you desire us to match colors we will require a hard copy proof strip (approx. 3"x8") approval signed by you. Additional charges apply. We currently charge $15.00 per color strip plus shipping. Locals may view the proof in our showroom. We reserve the right to reject any project we feel may be too difficult to color match.
